Nové Město nad Metují - circuit from land to cellar and garden

The castle with a garden in Nové Město nad Metují is today owned by the Bartoň family from Dobenín. The family bought the castle in 1909 and then had it modified by several architects, the most famous of whom is Dušan Jurkovič. The covered bridge in the style of folk Wallachian architecture to the castle garden is typically his work.
