Nove Mesto nad Metují

We are going to Náchodsko to the historic New Town above Metují. We are heading for the architecture and history of the city, which was first documented in writing in 1501 and whose historic center is located on a rocky promontory above the Metuji River. The dominant feature of the town is the castle whose history dates back to the beginning of the 16th century, when Jan Černický began building his castle here.
