The old school in Nové Hrady
House no. 114 was built in 1790 by ropemaker Jacob Schneider on the site of a former cemetery. In 1804, a school was established here. The second floor with an apartment for the school director was added in 1862. Until 1918, the school in Nové Hrady was not divided into German and Czech schools.
