Nové Hrady - Monastery of Divine Mercy

At the southern facade of the church of St. Peter and Paul in Nové Hrady was founded in 1677 by Ferdinand Buquoy (1634-1685), the owner of the Nové Hrad estate, as a fulfillment of his promise given to save his life after a serious injury in the campaign against the Turks, a baroque monastery of the Order of the Servants of the Virgin Mary-Servites and in 1678 -1685 he had it built.
