In 1996, the Broken Dam on the Bílá Desná was declared a cultural monument. This happened on the 80th anniversary of the dam burst. An extensive thematic exhibition took place in Riedl's villa.
A short educational trail with several stops is now marked on the site of the former dam. A few meters north of the mouth of the connecting tunnel, the foundations of the former tourist Krömer hut, which was after 1945...
