Ostrov Castle
The Ostrovský castle has a rich history behind it. In the 15th century it was owned by the Schliks, but gradually the castle went through construction modifications according to how the owners changed. In 1685-1690, Julius František, Duke of Saxe-Lauenburg, had a new castle built in front of the original Šlikovský castle - the so-called Lauenburg castle.
