A column with a statue of the Virgin Mary in Ostrov

At the northern end of the Old Square in the center of the historic part of the city of Ostrov stands a baroque column with a statue of the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ. It is the work of an unknown author, and the Mariana Plague Column was built by the island townspeople in 1685.
