Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Ostrov
The original Gothic parish church, which was dedicated to St. Mikuláši is mentioned in historical records as early as 1384. However, this church burned down in 1567 and a new church was built on its foundations and completed in 1572, which, however, lost its tower and roof during another fire on August 15, 1607. In addition, the gable walls subsequently collapsed, while a part of the emporium with a vault near the western part of the church was destroyed.…
