Oltyn
The village of Oltyně with the Castle is located 12 km west of Tábor.
It is mentioned for the first time in 1378. In 1560, the then owner Kryštof Hozlauer from Hozlau built a fortress in Oltyn. It remained in his family until 1635, when Jan Kryštof Neichinger from Oberneichink bought it. The last mention of the fortress dates from 1790.
In its place, after 1859, the then owner of the estate, Josef Fellner from Feldek, built a Neo-Renaissance castle.…
