An interesting technical monument in the Empire style bridges the river Lužnica near Stádlec in the Tábor district.
Originally, the bridge crossed the Vltava River near Podolsk about 10 km east of Písek, where it was built by businessman Vojtěch Lanna from České Budějovice in 1847 - 1848. It was designed by Bedřich Schnirch, the author of a number of similar bridges not only in our country but also abroad.
