Kotnov Tower

The Kotnovská tower and the neighboring Bechyňská gate form together one of the dominant features of the city. The tower can be reached from Hojs's mill, from Žižkova náměstí or through Na Parkánech street from Budějovická trýda. The tower is a remnant of the former castle, which burned down in 1532.
