Mariánské náměstí

A castle stood for many centuries at the southern end of Mariánské náměstí. He often hosted Czech monarchs. When it burned down in the 12th century, a stronger castle was built in its place, in whose walls many Czech rulers stayed on hunting expeditions. The castle was destroyed during the Hussite Wars.
