It is the rarest church monument in the Czech Republic. It is a metal relief made of copper and gold set in a frame set with precious stones, on which the Madonna and Child is depicted. According to legend, Saint Ludmila received it at her baptism from Saint Methodius. She then gave the picture to her grandson St. Wenceslas. He had it with him even on September 28, 929, when he was murdered in Stará Boleslav. So that he wouldn't be the Wenceslas...
