Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary

The monumental Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was built in the years 1617-1675. The construction, on the site of the original church from the 11th century, was carried out in the early Baroque style by the Italian builder Jacopo de Vaccani. The most valuable equipment of the church is the late Gothic relief of the Madonna, struck probably before the middle of the 15th century, the rest of the church equipment is mainly from the 17th and 18th centuries.
