Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Hemžy

A lot of them are a place of pilgrimage from the Baroque period. The first mentions of this place come from the years 1309 - 1310. Originally, the church was made of wood. In 1683, JB Trauttmansdorff had a new church built in its place. It is a cemetery church with a free-standing bell tower. The church is decorated in Baroque style, the inventory is Rococo. In the vaults there are paintings from 1897 from the life of the Virgin Mary.
