Chocen - town hall

It is located on Tyršov náměstí in the historic part of the city. It is the most distinctive object here. Originally, there was a wooden ditch here. The first town hall was built here in 1564-56. It was later rebuilt in the Baroque style. It was rebuilt in 1880 to its present-day Neo-Renaissance look with a dominant corner tower. The tourist information center is located on the ground floor of the building.
