Marl rocks near Chocna
Chocní, as is well known, flows through the Tichá Orlice, which creates several impressive meanders before entering the town. Their banks are lined with steep wooded slopes and high walls of somewhat unusual rocks peek out from the vegetation. They are made of marl, which, especially for me as a Valacha rock, is quite exotic... and it is true that the local marl outcrops are among the highest and most extensive in Bohemia.
