Hemme

The village of Hemže is part of the town of Choceň, about 2 km away from it following the yellow tourist sign. It is first documented in sources at the beginning of the 14th century.
The settlement stretches along a large village, which was created as a gathering place in front of the local important baroque pilgrimage church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, which is discussed in a separate post.
