Chapel of the Mount of Olives in Jihlava

While walking through the historic center of Jihlava, you will certainly notice the dilapidated Chapel of Mount Olivet near the Church of St. James.
The original chapel of this name was built at the end of the 17th century by the Jihlava burgher Filip Jungmayer from Hof. From period photographs, it can be seen that statues of St. Peter, James, John and Christ from the end of the 15th century were placed in the chapel.
