Jihlava Town Hall
It is understandable that such an important mining town, as Jihlava already became in the Middle Ages, had to have a magnificent alderman's house. The first one, in which Jihlava councilors consulted, stood on the western side of today's Masaryk Square. In 1425, the then "city council" bought Cippus's house, located on the opposite, eastern side of the market square, and after the necessary reconstruction, it became the new town hall...
