Buquoy Tomb - Nové Hrady
The pseudo-Gothic tomb of the Buquoys, the dominant feature of the cemetery in Nové Hrady, was built in the nineties of the nineteenth century. The author of the proposal is Josef Schultze, who, among other things, participated in the reconstruction of the National Museum and the Rudolfinum building in Prague. According to the design of Josef Schultz, the tomb was built by Karel Brůžek from Nové Hradů. The tomb has two floors. There is a crypt on the ground floor and a chapel on the first floor.
