The Bedrčský dvůr was probably built in these places as early as the thirteenth century, but the first reliable chronology dates back to 1414, when it belonged to Vladyka Jaroš, whose name was "from Bedrče". The village was founded at the foot of the hill, i.e. "under the shoulder of the mountain".
