Borotín Castle The village of Borotín originally belonged to the lords of Landštejn, one of the branches of the most powerful South Bohemian family of Vítkovci. In 1356 Mikuláš from Borotín is mentioned here. The probable founder of the castle was Vítek. His descendants Jan and Heřman became followers of Hus' teachings.
