Borotín (ruin)

The picturesque ruins of the Borotín Castle, sometimes referred to as the Old Castle, stand on a bare hill and are reflected in the surface of the pond below the castle. The castle ruins of Borotín are located near the village of the same name in the Tábor region in the South Bohemian region. The high remains of the castle palace, gates, small and large cylindrical towers and a new residential wing from the 16th century have been preserved from the castle. The castle ruins are freely accessible.
