Záhornice - church of St. Matthew
The first written report about the village dates from 1225 in connection with the barter trade of King Přemysl Otakar I. Further mentions are from the 14th century, when it was owned by the Carthusians from Poděbrady. Before Christmas in 1836, a big fire broke out and destroyed almost the entire settlement.
