Městec Králové - Náměstí Republiky
The natural center of the Town of Králové is Náměstí republiky with the dominant building of the town hall. The foundation of today's square was laid by new construction after a devastating fire in 1792. Construction of the town hall began on May 29, 1799, and in 1905 it was modified to almost its present form. On the square there is a monument with a bust of František Palacký and a water fountain. The western part of the square is closed by the Church of St. Markets and the school building.…
