Malínská rokle, i.e. the valley of the stream above Nový Malín, formerly Frankštát, was a place where seekers of precious and non-ferrous metals went in the Middle Ages. According to the latest research, miners probably came here during the first colonization, that is, during the reign of Přemysl Otakar I, sometime in the 20s. This ultimately indicates that the settlement or establishment of settlements in Šumpersk or Šumperk itself could have taken place...
