The tragedy over Nový Malín

On the road from Nové Malín to Mladoňov, we can find a monument to the tragedy that took place in these places just above the branch of the forest road (it leads under Kemenec). It is a memorial commemorating the tragic accident that happened here on October 17, 1913; soon it will be 100 years. Heinrich Czöpan, the administrator of the city forest, was shot here very badly at the time. The forest belonged to the nearby Town of Šumperk.
