Nový Malín - Mound of the summer solstice

On the northwestern hill above the upper end of Nové Malín, we can find an interesting building. This is the Summer Solstice Mound. It was built in 1926 by Wilhelm Urban on his property. It was a place with a decent view of Malín, then Frankštát and the entire Šumper basin. The place was between fields, so it wasn't overgrown like it is today, when there are more meadows and pastures in the area, and around the mound today...
