To the "Dead Man" rocks and to Volyn

   Today's trip will take us to the landscape literally behind the "thumps" of the town of Šumperk. It is full of interesting rock formations that are hidden in forests with elements of original natural vegetation, and in places we literally find ourselves in unprecedented wilderness! The rocks are made up of crystalline slates, mainly phyllites, clasts and gneisses - but we also find quartzite here.
