Seč Reservoir or Seč Reservoir on the Chrudimka River

It was built between 1924 and 1934 on the Chrudimka River, its river kilometer 50,7. It is located in the beautiful surroundings of the Iron Mountains in the Pardubice region. It is managed by the Elbe Basin. The elevation of the water level is around 488 meters above sea level.
 
The volume of the water reservoir is 21,795 million m3. The arched embankment made of granite stones is 165 meters long and 42 meters high. The dam construction is guarded by two ruins…
