Sečská dam

The purpose of the waterworks is to retain water in the reservoir to improve the flow in the lower section of the Chrudimka River, a group waterworks used by the waterworks supplying the cities of Chrudim and Pardubice, for the energy use of water in hydroelectric power plants, to partially protect the area below the reservoir from floods, to ensure a minimum flow in river Chrudimce, for recreation and fishing.
