The ruins of the Vildštejn castle near the Seč water reservoir

Between 1924 and 1934, the Seč water reservoir was built on the Chrudimka River. Everything was watched from the rocky promontory by the ruins of Vildštejn Castle. The days when a castle stood here were long gone.
 
Today, it is a beautiful and somewhat mysterious place overgrown with reeds, in which the remains of masonry are hidden, awaiting a thorough archaeological investigation.
