Lipno
The Lipno Dam is the largest body of water in the Czech Republic. The waterworks were built on the Vltava River in 1952-1959. During the construction, villages, settlements, roads, but also railways were flooded. Today, due to its location, Lipno is mainly used for recreation, fishing and water sports.
