New Furnace

The small Šumava town of Nová Pec is a well-known resort and starting point for many trips around Šumava. It is located in the Šumava Protected Area in the Prachatice district on the right bank of the Lipno Reservoir in the places where the lake begins to swell, at an altitude of 744 m.
