Vitiněves - a village about 3 km south of Jičín, is first mentioned in 1345. The village was founded by a certain Vít, or a similar name, from which the name of the village was later derived. Several classic large farmhouses have been preserved in Vitínevsi. Furthermore, here we find the statue of St. John of Nepomuck from 1782, a statue of Anděl Starážek from 1869 and a crucifix from 1882.
