Miličeves - castle
Milíčeves - the first mention of the village appears in the land registers of 1325. In 1677-78, the Jičín Jesuits rebuilt the dilapidated fortress into a baroque castle, using stone from the ruins of the demolished Veliš castle. In 1841, when the owner of the castle was Michal Karel Altman, the castle was rebuilt in the Empire style, in this form it is still known today. Today, the castle serves as a retirement home.
