Újezd ​​near Brno - chapel of St. Anthony of Padua

It is located above the village on the edge of the vineyards. Originally a medieval pilgrimage shrine, it burned down in 1805 during the Battle of the Three Emperors, when a French battery with 24 guns of the Napoleonic Guard and IV. army corps, which launched the final attack on the allied troops from there. The existing chapel was rebuilt here in 1863.
