Swedish grave
A large stone monument commemorating the tragic event that happened here stands by the road, a short distance behind the railway station in Kovářské. During the Thirty Years' War in March 1641, after losing the battle at Přísečnice, a detachment of Swedes marched through Kovářská to the border in České Hamre.
