Peace stone near Štenice
The reconciliation stone near the solitude called Štenice near the village of Sázava, 3,5 km west of Žďár nad Sázavou. The time of creation and the reason why this beautiful stone was placed here are not known. The legend about the hermit who was supposed to live here and about Janko Slezák, who mined silver on the nearby Peperk Hill, is described on a plaque next to this memorial stone.
