Hamry nad Sázavou - historic stone bridge
This historic stone single-arch bridge is located in the central part of the village and crosses the local stream of the Sázava. The construction of the bridge is dated to the end of the 18th century. Its vault is highly arched and has a slatted shape. The length of the bridge is 18 m and the width is 3,5 m. The arch itself has a span of 10 m and a rise of 3,3 m. The upper edge of the parapet made of stone blocks is 4,8 m above the river level. On all fours…
