Column in Bohemia - Samuel's cave

Samuel's Cave is located in the village of Sloup in Bohemia, practically opposite the famous Rock Castle. The cave itself is a modest hermit's dwelling, artificially excavated in a sandstone rock massif jutting out from a small hill above the southern edge of the Pillar. The rock with the cave was originally called Spičatý kámen and is most easily accessible via a side stream from Sloup or from the fork south of Na Stráži lookout. From the bottom…
