Na Stráži refers to a high rocky promontory (354 m), steeply falling into the Dobranovské stream valley about 0,5 km south of Sloup. It was originally called the Broad Stone (Breiter Stein) and its current name was derived from the guard post that the Swedes set up here in 1634.
