Lookout tower at Horní les - description of the object

The upper forest with its 774 m above sea level is the dominant feature of the local landscape. That is why Eurotel Prague chose this location for its higher-order telecommunications transmitter. Since the building was to be on the Rovečné municipality cadastre, the municipality agreed to the construction only on the condition that the transmitter would also include an observation tower. The work started in 2001 and the ceremonial opening took place on April 19, 2002.
