The predominantly wooded ridge of Bukovce forms a distinct slope double ridge heading south from the main peak of the local dominant Horní les (774 m). It is separated from the Upper Forest by the wide Dudkovické saddle, which is crossed by a network of forest roads. The northern peak (702 m) is separated from the southern peak (707 m) by a meadow saddle with far-reaching views of the landscape.
