Natural monument of the sphinx
The Sphinx natural monument is located below the village of Mědenec on the slope of the Ore Mountains at an altitude of 790 m. The Sphinxes are a typical example of a frost log cabin, which was created by frost weathering during repeated ice ages in the Quaternary Mountains.
