Similar to other West Bohemian spa towns, Františkovy Lázně also has its own Orthodox church. It was built for the Russian community and spa guests between 1887-1889 (Františkovy Lázně was the first to have an Orthodox church in the spa triangle) and is dedicated to St. Olga. Its architect was the local mayor, Gustav Wiedermann, who designed, among other things, the Church of St. Peter and Paul in Karlovy Vary. On…
