Statue of Francis
The statue of a small boy with a fish has become a symbol of František Lázně. Originally a park sculpture of vision in 1924 by the Franciscan spa sculptor Adolf Mayerl, it was moved after the war in front of the Social House, where female patients liked to take pictures with it. The spa photographer Mr. Škarda invented one of the most beloved legends in Bohemia to increase the popularity of František - according to her, every female patient who touches her thumb …
