The most important church monument of the spa town is certainly the Church of the Ascension of St. Crisis. It stands on a gentle hill between Ruska street and Městské sady. The most beautiful view of the sanctuary is from Jiráskova street. The church was built in the classicist style between 1815 and 1819 according to the design of the architect Karel Wiedermann.
