Pracheň (castle)

The ruins of Prácheň Castle stand on a promontory above the Otava River in Klatovská in the Pilsen Region. A part of the perimeter wall with a massive round tower has been preserved from Předhradí, and from the castle itself, the remains of buildings near the walls remain. The 4 flanking towers are also well preserved. At the end of the promontory is part of the perimeter wall and the torso of another tower. The castle ruins are freely accessible.
